Great central location near key attractions. The single room was small but verysuper clean and cozy. Excellent shower facilities. Wi-Fi connection was strong and reliable. The host was cute and friendly 😊

Very central location
No air conditioning makes it too hot for normal sleep during the summer. As you open the windows you are constantly woken up by noises from the patio. Staff were not friendly but efffective and rooms were clean. Staff refused blank to keep luggage until our flight at 10pm, so we had to go to the airprot to leave the luggage and back to town losing 3 hrs of our last day in Madrid. If you are on a tight budget then may be you could put up with these, we said that we will "never again" stay in Hostal Murcia.

The location was fantastic, with easy access to many attractions. I appreciated that towels were included. The price per night was reasonable compared to other options in the city. Similar to another review, I found the host to be cute and helpful throughout my visit.
The room was quite small.

Staying at this place was great! We loved exploring the nearby Plaza Mayor, where we found delicious snacks that delighted our little ones and our pet was also welcome. The cleanliness and larger bathroom.
My kids wished there were better soundproofing for sleep.

I liked its character and spanish authenticity. It was quirky and a nice place to be. It was in an amazing location, right in the centre of madrid, 30 seconds walk from Sol tube station. It was also clean with a nice little room and a nice bathroom. The woman that ran the place was friendly.

Hostal Murcia is beautifully situated just minutes from Plaza Mayor. The rooms, although small, aresuper clean and cozy, with excellent shower facilities and strong Wi-Fi, .
Stairs can be challenging for some seniors.

Noisy, too hot. Fortunately stayed one night. Could be cheaper for what it offers. But on the other hand it's pretty good central location. Good for backpackers.

The room was beautifully decorated and had everything I needed including a shared bathroom and free WiFi; the location was great, close to a large pedestrian square and only 25 km from the airport.

Location. Close to Puerta del Sol. Nice hallway and clean bathroom.
One bathroom for far too many rooms. Uncomfortable bed with one pillow for 2 persons.

perfect location (just off Puerta del Sol), good wifi in my room, everyday cleaning & new sheets & towel. Nice shower (shared) with decent hot water

Very clean, and more convenient then expected for a low budget hostel.
Bathroom was several corridors away from room. Narrow, claustrophobic interior. Wifi was very marginal.
